Interviewed 4 rounds and had good dialogues in all 4. But all of a sudden they went radio silent on me for 4 weeks, not even replying to my emails asking for an update and whether I was still being considered. A month later, received an impromptu call from the HR person saying she didn't respond to me or reach out because "they were pursuing another candidate. And that candidate has now accepted, therefore they are not moving forward with me." That was it. Not even a simple thank you for your interest in our company or thanks for your time investment. Nothing. Forget about the standard HR practice of keeping a candidate updated, they didn't even have the courtesy to reply to me and just say something simple like I was still being evaluated along with others or something to that effect. Instead they elected to ignore me and go radio silent and then ambush me with a dry and rather rude message like that. I'm glad I was not selected, because their way of handling the interview process speaks volumes of their culture, or the lack thereof.
