Are you a licensed investment professional who loves client relationships but is tired of cold-calling, prospecting, and eating what you kill? Our growing, high-performing wealth management practice is seeking a dedicated Servicing Investment Advisor to manage, retain, and deepen relationships with an existing, well-established book of warm clients. In this role, your success is measured by client satisfaction, portfolio optimization, and retention—not by the size of your personal Rolodex. Why This Opportunity is Different:
You will step directly into an established book of over 350 affluent clients backed by a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. We handle the lead generation, corporate marketing, and prospecting; you focus entirely on what you do best: providing exceptional financial advice, executing flawless portfolio reviews, and delivering peace of mind.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: $70,000 – $100,000 / year (Commensurate with experience)
- Bonus Structure: Structured quarterly performance bonus tied directly to book retention, client satisfaction, and organic asset growth.
- Career Growth: Clear, defined path toward senior advisory partnership or specialized portfolio management roles as our practice scales.
The Day-to-Day Work:
- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary advisor point-of-contact for your assigned book. Conduct regular, high-touch portfolio reviews and proactively address day-to-day inquiries.
- Financial Planning Support: Deepen existing relationships by identifying evolving client life-stage needs, uncovering additional family assets, and collaborating on total wealth planning (retirement, tax, and estate).
- Portfolio Optimization & Execution: Execute buy and sell transactions in equities, fixed income, and ETFs in alignment with client's KYC.
- Market & Investment Review: Monitor client account performance, risk metrics, and asset allocations, rebalancing portfolios under the guidance of the Investment Committee.
- Compliance Fidelity: Maintain pristine documentation and full adherence to CIRO regulations, operational workflows, and firm internal policies.
Qualifications & Licensing Requirements:
- Mandatory License: Current registration with CIRO in good standing. Eligible to act as an Investment Advisor (Registered Representative / IR) or Associate Investment Advisor in Canada.
- Experience: 3 to 7 years of direct wealth management or retail investment advisory experience with a proven track record of handling high-net-worth client accounts.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or a related business discipline.
- Technical Credentials: Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH). PFP, CFP, or CIM designations are highly desirable assets.
- Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (Must be a Canadian Citizen).
