Reports to: Plant Manager

• Major Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain processing equipment’s ( cleaner, gravity table, destoner and color sorted).
  • Transfer product in and safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure compliance for a safe working environment/facility which portrays a positive image complying with all health and safety initiative
  • Load finished product as per customer specifications
  • Bagging of materials
  • Inspect the containers.
  • Cleanliness of processing area
  • Filling out paperwork
  • Other activities that arise daily pertaining to the operation, safety, and quality of our products

• Qualifications:

  • Grain processing experience
  • Clear and good communication skills
  • Ability to Grade soybeans and edible beans
  • Forklift experience
  • Physically able to work in both hot and cold environments, both indoors and outdoors and at heights
  • Willing to work extended shifts as demand requires and assist with operations as needed.
  Mechanically Inclined
  

Hours of Work and Shift Requirements

This position requires flexibility in scheduling. Successful candidates may be assigned to day, afternoon, evening, weekend, and/or overnight shifts based on operational requirements. Shift assignments, hours of work, and schedules are subject to change from time to time in accordance with business needs and applicable employment standards legislation.

Candidates must be available and willing to work a variety of shifts, including overnight shifts, as required.
