Position Summary
We are looking for a professional, organized, and detail-oriented Corporate Sales Assistant / Receptionist to join our team for a 1-year maternity leave replacement contract.
This role combines front-desk reception responsibilities with administrative and sales support for our corporate sales team. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, proactive, and comfortable communicating with clients, visitors, sales representatives, and internal departments.
Although this is a 1-year contract position, Delon values strong team members, and there may be an opportunity for continued employment depending on performance and company needs.
ResponsibilitiesReception & Front Desk
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, suppliers, and guests in a professional manner.
- Manage visitor access, including opening the door and notifying the appropriate employee when guests arrive.
- Ensure visitors complete the required sign-in and sign-out process.
- Answer and direct phone calls as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
- Manage office supplies, including inventory, ordering, and restocking.
- Assist with general office administration and day-to-day support.
Sales Support
- Support the sales team with client-related administrative tasks.
- Assist with client communication, follow-ups, forms, and documentation.
- Gather information from internal departments as needed to respond to client requests.
- Coordinate the preparation and shipment of product samples to clients.
- Help organize and track samples, forms, client requests, and follow-up items.
- Communicate with internal teams to help move client requests forward efficiently.
- Assist sales representatives with general account support and project follow-up.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in reception, office administration, customer service, or sales support is an asset.
- Strong communication skills in English; French is an asset.
- Professional phone and email etiquette.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced office environment.
- Comfortable following up with internal departments and keeping tasks organized.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to help where needed.
- Experience in manufacturing, cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical, food, or CPG industries is an asset.

They are comfortable being the first point of contact for visitors while also supporting a busy sales team behind the scenes. They take initiative, follow up carefully, and help ensure that client requests are handled professionally and efficiently.
