Cons
Troubleshooting a printer is a nightmare. There are so many models but the issue is how do you actually tell a client to perform a physical manoeuver? Like yeah printer is not working and paper is getting jammed. Good luck telling client to try to put paper back again. Like they haven't tried that already. There are hundreds of variations of this problem for all kinds of hardware issues. The bigger problem is you are expected to troubleshoot 3 clients all at the same time and respond to them within 1-2minutes each, every step of the way. Imagine the nightmare of issues and the complex troubleshooting steps involved. This is not as simple as telling someone to clickon something on their computer, we are talking about physical components. The headache involved and the stress of juggling three people at the same time is just not reasonable at all. Good luck even getting the cooperation of people who already tried everything themselves and here you are asking them to perform complex manoeuvers with TCIP and driver issues etc etc. You're basically stressed the whole time you're working and also desperately trying to use their archaic software to sell them consummables. You think chat would be better than telephone calls but it's one of those rare instances that I'd rather speak to 1 person at a time on the telephone simply inquiring for information.
