Challenging but rewarding

Pros

1. You learn a lot and have plenty of opportunities to grow. 2. The people you work with are all great people. Everyone is smart and cares deeply about solving real problems for merchants. 3. The in office culture is great. The team is supportive of each other, and we do a bunch of fun things together.

Cons

1. Your job won't be easy. This is not a 9-5 job, and you will likely need to work off-hours to get work done when needed. 2. You have to be comfortable with ambiguity and a bit of chaos. 3. If you don't like direct feedback, this is not the place for you.

Pros

Overall I would highly recommend Fulfil as an employer. If I had to describe it as briefly as possible I'd say it's all the buzzwords you hear about working in startups/SaaS companies but actually executed and acted upon. Policies and culture are more than fancy words and both actually flow throughout the organization. This is an excellent place to work. They will help you push yourself professionally while giving you the time and space you need in your personal life. Compensation is also more than fair and highly competitive. - Unlimited PTO is actually an unlimited PTO policy (executives/managers also take time off and encourage you to do so and the focus is on what you can do, not how many hours/days your status on slack is active). - Excellent feedback. Feedback is very open at Fulfil and will come from managers, coworkers and colleagues in other groups at the company. Feedback is always centred around helping you improve. - Positive culture. A culture that celebrates wins, and uses mistakes or stumbles as an opportunity to learn and grow "not punish". You will feel able to try new things, knowing that if it doesn't go well you'll be able to try something else the next time. - Responsive and helpful managers. Managers will give you the space you need to get your work done but are always available to assist if needed and are also highly responsive to any other matters you may need to discuss with them. - Opportunity to learn a lot. Both about the industry and about different aspects of the business. Fulfil has a wealth of resources and opportunities to help you learn and grow professionally.

Cons

Not a con per se but something important to be aware of. Working at Fulfil will require being open to learning as much as possible when you first begin, there are some aspects of Fulfil that for some can take getting used to. That means learning how to find the answers to questions, dealing with uncertainty, being able to share and receive honest feedback, etc are all good skills to have. While the work is rewarding and interesting it's not "easy", and I would recommend looking elsewhere for an "easy" position.

Pros

- An incredible opportunity to dive deep into the world of e-commerce and e-commerce technology. - Smart, driven team members that are subject matter experts owning their craft - Product that is robust to support the many nuanced workflows of customers scaling their e-commerce business - A leadership team that embraces change and encourages an attitude of collaboration across the board. - An environment of support and learning. The team cares about the people they bring on board

Cons

- Working at a high-growth company brings with it the challenges of dealing with ambiguity. Individuals must learn to be resourceful in order to thrive. - An environment of high-talent means one is expected to learn quickly. Not necessarily a con but important to be aware of going into the role. - Work can seem overwhelming at times. Everyone in the room works really hard to support the business and customers.
