Pros

I’ve been with the company for over five years and recently I have been on the road with our wonderful CEO Yana Popa. She cares about the company so much. She’s helping me to grow myself assisting me with product concerns and general education about the company. I feel so supported by this company. My manager is also great always there for me always listening. I’m also getting paid quite decent money figure salary, and a free car. I think it’s quite amazing.

Cons

Nothing to report here everything is really good

Pros

Car, phone, training, varying work days.

Cons

This used to be a good company to work for. During interviews and when you are first hired you will be told how much potential income you can make and that a standard work day in the field is from 8am to 5pm. Don't be fooled, it's the perfect job if you don't need a good reliable income. You will be bombarded with unnecessary paperwork (in the name of accountability and to make sure the managers butt is covered) and lots of added hours at night looking after order entries. If you are one of the few reps in the company that is in the "boys club" then management will look after you well. Keep in mind that this only amounts to about maybe 5% of the reps within the company. As for the rest of the reps you will be told to continuously sign up and reactivate customers and try to justify the outlandish pricing for products that used to be unique only to Wurth. Just make sure you don't complain to much about it as you will be black listed by management and they will find a quick and easy way to eliminate you from their workforce. You will find lots of double standards and favoritism from upper management as well. " Do as I say and not as I do" should be the company motto. If you do happen to make some kind of decent sales then you can look forward to either a territory split or a 15%+ guaranteed target increase at the beginning of every year. They will lead you into a false sense of security by telling you a "guarantee" will be given to you for a limited time and this will allow you to build your territory. The territories are so small now that you will not be able to maintain managements absurd demands. This is how they will control you and what little money you will make. This company is on a downhill slide and picking up speed. Don't believe the hype!

Pros

Company Car, Phone, IPAD, Relationship building with customers. But be prepared to be challenged at every step by them.

Cons

Competing divisions in same Territories, Customers not always divided properly between divisions. No support from Head Office, When you go to the Wurth week long training you are Told NOT to call the office for support but to rely on Manager for everything. You are selling way over market price. To be competitive you have to lower cost and make 1.5 percent commission. Company does not lower there percentage. Different prices between divisions so you are delivering the same Product but not at best possible price. Management focus is on getting new customers regardless if they will buy on a regular basis. You will be spending the day from 8 to 5 visiting customers and prospecting. At night you will be researching products and doing paperwork till very late with no support from head office. Be ready to kiss up to manager to be in the All Star team to have favors and special pricing given to you. Do not think you will be making money on sales but rather you will be able to get extra money from total sales in their complicated pay structure. If you lose customers (which Happens loss to competition, bankruptcies you are still responsible for sales targets. Hard to reach sales targets and company very cheap. Recently they have taken away ways of earning income by reducing rep ordering options. Wurth Group in Europe is a success but Canadian and American model of doing business is not ready to handle big accounts. You realize that there is a huge turnaround when customer ask you how long you will be around for. Company never accepts fault for anything and blames everything on reps. so they do not learn from their own mistakes. Hard to keep yourself motivated when you are lied too and receive no support from company.
