Zubeda Patel joined ASSA ABLOY as Talent Acquisition Manager for Opening Solutions SAARC, to support with growing the local team based in Mumbai, India, a key emerging market for the EMEIA Division. “My role gives me the opportunity to meet, understand and manage different personalities. This also helps me develop as a young talent acquisition professional, which is one of the most visible areas of HR. It is very motivating and rewarding knowing that we can add value to the business by recruiting the right people that will support in delivering our success,” says Zubeda. Zubeda lives in the vibrant City of Mumbai which is best known as the ‘City that never sleeps!’ She enjoys all the history, arts, food, culture, theatre, and nightlife just to name a few, but in her lunch breaks, Zubeda likes to sit outside in a peaceful area, enjoy her lunch and sometimes watch short videos of her onscreen hero, Charlie Chaplin. She also enjoys reading fiction and non-fiction books “Sidney Sheldon, Isabel Allende, and Danielle Steel are a few of my personal favourites” she says.
