I applied online. I interviewed at ALDO Group in Oct 2024
Interview
Applied online, had a recruiter text me about speaking with them that same day. After I replied to them about a time frame, I never heard back from them. A couple weeks later I applied to another location, the same recruiter called me and wanted to set up a last minute video interview with the DM that same day or the next day. I agreed to the next day. Shortly before the video interview, the recruiter text me to push the interview back, I agreed. While waiting on video at the new time, then 15 minutes later the recruiter contacted me to let me know the DM couldn't make it. We agreed to reschedule the video interview. At the reschedule video interview, the DM came on time, but had me wait up to several minutes because she was on the phone. After the interview I was scheduled for an in person interview, to which I wund up ghosting. The DM clearly didn't respect my time as a candidate, I could only imagine how they run a district. Not to mention they low balled the salary range in the job listing. I definitely dodged a bullet. No thank you Aldo, you can keep your toxic work environment.

Pretty brief, met with store manager who was looking to bench a candidate for their eventual promotion. I was disappointed with the lack of negotiation available around salary but the interview process seemed straightforward and efficient.
