Similar to another reviewer, I was hired in early 2015 (February, to be exact). They gave me the runaround in terms of a start date. First it was August, then July, then back to August, then September or October, and then finally during the first week of September they revealed I'd receive a contract for November or no contract at all! While last minute is indeed the Korean way, this was incredibly unprofessional.
I spent a fortune (roughly $500 on background checks, apostilles, and more) getting my visa documents together. I even drove out to Cleveland to do electronic fingerprints because they don't have them in PA. Throughout the entire process they gave me suggested locations that Aclipse would consider me for, but nothing set in stone. When they finally e-mailed me in September, they were going to offer me a contract for their Pohang campus. I was so fed up at that point I declined. Roughly seven months of my life wasted. I had Aclipse return the documents I spent so much time and effort on putting together. You can read further scathing reviews of this company on ESL Watch and WayGook.
If you are a recent graduate looking to teach in South Korea, I suggest that you go through a government recruiter like EPIK/GEPIK, not this hack company.
