I was called for a quick and easy phone interviews . First by talent staff then my district manager. They informed me about benefits their goals for growth and much more.
I applied online. I interviewed at ActionLink in Apr 2026
Interview
Initially had a WONDERFUL experience. Went through the recruiter, first interview, and then second interview (third overall.) I felt great about the interviews and thought everyone I spoke to was professional and friendly. In the 2nd and 3rd interviews, the managers spoke confidently as if I was a shoe-in for the job and had it discussing training dates and logistics. The third interview ended with "you will have something in your inbox by EOD Friday." That was over a week ago now. I sent a follow up email and still got no response.
I am genuinely shocked at being ghosted by a crew of people who were initially very profesional. I even drew back on another offer thinking I had this one. Do not speak to a candidate as if they have the role unless they do, and if you are going to promise they have an answer by a certain time, then ensure you do it - especially if they send you a follow up email!
I will give serious pause before working with Action Link again after this experience.
First was a phone screening with a recruiter followed by a phone interview with the manager a few days later. It was a pretty straightforward interview with the usual questions about merchandising.
