Interviewed with HR and the team, neither of which seemed to know what they were doing. I asked HR some basic questions regarding the position but they did not seem to understand at all. The actual team was equally clueless as they tried to redirect my questions to them back to HR. Aviso staff were incredibly rude during the overall process.
Firm does not seem to have an overall direction and also does not seem fully compliant with Canadian laws and regulations (CIRO). Not sure why they are hiring at all as overall headcount seems absolutely massive relative to the workload they seem to describe, relative to the big 5 banks.
Good interview process. Everything was well organized with professionalism. The interviewer asked several questions and told that the list of questions is the same for all candidates. The overall interview was great with no pressure.
