I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Belcan (Seattle, WA) in Jun 2021
Interview
A recruiter located in a different State contacted me. We exchanged our availability and set an interview time on Monday at 1pm. On the interview day, he didn't call me, so I sent a friendly reminder that we have an interview. After 30 mins, he said if we can do it tomorrow at 12pm. He didn't even apologize. He is one of the most unprofessional people I've ever seen.
The interview process typically includes multiple stages, starting with an initial screening call, followed by one or more interviews assessing technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and cultural fit. Depending on the role, candidates may complete assessments, case studies, or coding challenges. The final stage often involves discussions with hiring managers or senior leadership before a decision is made. The process can take a few weeks, and candidates are usually informed about next steps and timelines throughout.

Question 1
Can you walk me through your experience and how it aligns with this role?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Belcan (Blue Ash, OH) in Aug 2018
Interview
Contacted by recruiter by email.
Phone interview with recruiter.
Phone interview with one hiring manager.
Onsite interview with several people, but all 1:1 interviews.
Typical interviews with HR style questions. Discussed Belcan and the positions available, my resume, and a few projects that I worked on, but no technical assessment. Was offered a position, but in the end, their salary and benefits are sub-par compared to other companies and with a fairly recent round of lay-offs in the rear-view, it wasn't worth the risk.
