Brink's, Incorporated interview questions

You attended an interview for a Brinks armored transport/security position, where you were evaluated on your driving experience, reliability, and ability to operate in high-pressure environments. You discussed your experience handling heavy traffic conditions in the Tri-State area, including NYC routes, tight urban driving, and defensive driving skills. You highlighted your ability to stay alert in congested areas, follow strict safety procedures, and maintain situational awareness around pedestrians and other vehicles. The interview also covered your work history, schedule flexibility for long shifts, and willingness to handle secure transport responsibilities.

I had a standard phone screening with a recruiter. I did not advance in the process beyond this call. In retrospect, I believe this was due to compensation. When they asked about my target comp, I mentioned how much I made in my previous role as a Senior Manager but noted I was flexible. The salary for this Director role was ~$40k less, which I said I was absolutely on board with as I recognized my previous salary was higher than normal for the position, but I suspect the recruiter felt I would ultimately turn down the role if offered due to the lower compensation.
