      good, they were very nice and kind. Some of the questions I ended up repeating myself especially in terms of supporting invulnerable communities such as safe space, making the participants have someone to create rapport with (if they don't like X, Y is available) I was very nervous but they were very understanding about it.

      Please outline for us your previous education and experience and why that would make you the ideal candidate for this position. Our work involves interacting with youth from a diverse backgrounds and lived/living experiences. What are some communication/rapport strategies to ensure participants have a positive experience with research staff? What are challenges or issues that you may encounter when connecting 2SLGBTQ+, BIPOC, newcomer youth or neuro-divergent youth? What are some gender, culture or other affirming practices that you would use when interacting with 2SLGBTQ+, BIPOC, newcomer youth or neuro-divergent youth? This position will involve recruiting youth to participate in a longitudinal study. Can you please outline the key components of information that must be covered in the consent discussion/process? What challenges do you anticipate in engaging youth in the consent discussion and research in general? What experience do you have with mixed methods research (quantitative and qualitative) and data collection that might be relevant to this position? Please include your experience with specific populations, measures, types of interviews and software. How would you ensure an appropriate approach to data collection for 2SLGBTQ+, BIPOC, newcomer youth or neuro-divergent youth? Our relationships with stakeholders/collaborators and community partners have been developed over many years and are very important to us. Can you please tell us about your experience working with community partners e.g., youth and family advisories, community agencies, etc.? What are some important tips when engaging stakeholders/collaborators and community partners? Describe a situation where you had to deal with a disagreement with a partner, collaborator or co-worker, and the steps you took to resolve the conflict. Is there anything you would have done differently? Confidentiality, particularly for research clients, is crucial. Tell us about your familiarity with the ethical standards and exceptions to confidentiality used by researchers. Please describe 3 ways that you protect confidential information in your day-to-day work. Please describe your experience with research administration, for example REB, legal, financial, regulatory, and record keeping processes. What strategies have you used for monitoring project progress? Diversity is one of CAMH’s key values. What does diversity mean to you and why is it important in the workplace, healthcare and research? Can you provide some of examples of privilege that creates bias in healthcare or research? Can you provide some examples of anti-oppressive and anti-racist practices?
