They gave me a chance to have an interview a week after official deadline was closed for the job. Questions were fair but i feel that they already made their choice by promoting internally

Have a scénario with a spécification injury case and a protocol given by a doctor, how would I react if you firmly know that the protocol would not be the best for the patient.
