Straightforward reach out by talent. Person didn’t know the pay and couldn’t confirm anything regarding it. Originally applied for one role but was recommended for another.
Did three rounds of interviews. Team seemed nice.
Company is somewhat starting out so not a lot of direction/structure.
2 weeks + gone by and haven’t heard anything. Several reach out efforts to talent contact. Person randomly disappeared, although person was very persistent and communicative prior. Finally was reached out to after 3 weeks and told me they moved on with another candidate but still want to keep in touch bc of my experience in the industry and growing team.
Very big mistake on their part - it is very difficult to find talent where their experience aligns as much as mine does. It is a specialized industry. They had a couple roles that I could have excelled at with my eyes closed.
As a growing company, they should jump at the opportunity to hire experienced individuals.
I wouldn’t waste my time interviewing for this company. Usually when they can’t confirm straightforward details they tend be all over the place, unreliable + can’t make educated decisions.
