      Account Manager Interview

      Sep 15, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      North Vancouver, BC
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Flipp (North Vancouver, BC)

      Interview

The recruiter was the most awkward person I’ve ever spoken to. She just asked questions like she was reading them off a page. No conversation, just very canned responses when asked about company culture and opportunities for growth. Took less than 30 mins and left me feeling like she didn’t know how to do her job, and didn’t really learn anything at all about me. After, I got an email telling me I was “over qualified” for the role. What nonsense. People are looking for jobs, it is up to you to find a place for them if they have desired qualities. I would never work here.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Flipp

      Interview

Long interview process, including phone interview (screening), scenario-based interview homework to complete prior to face-to-face (virtual) interview. No feedback provided on case study, overall lack of response. Very young team, understood there to be lots of continued internal changes.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Case study related to competing bids of attention and best approach (email complaints, etc.)
