I applied online. I interviewed at Fluor in Feb 2015
Interview
After your resume makes it through HR the next step is a phone interview. It last only around 20 to 30 minutes. Consists of a few technical questions and why you want to work for Fluor. Make sure to ask questions at the end of the phone interview to show your interest. After interview a writing sample is requested, which is a short paragraph describing why Fluor should hire you. If the phone interview goes well then a face to face interview will be requested.

Interview
I connected with one of the Directors on linkedIn and they sent my resume to the department manager. The next day evening I got a mail from the department manager asking if I am okay to share my work and academic experinece with them. The meeting was scheduled and the prep time I had was 1 week. There were 3 people in the interview along with the manager and all of them were technical people. No HR. Interview questions were based on my work and academic experinces. They were kinda between average and difficult.
