This review is intended for future applicants considering the recruitment process at Green and Spiegel.
The recruitment process at Green and Spiegel reflects a disappointing lack of professionalism and basic candidate communication standards.
Following an interview, there was no communication for over a month despite multiple polite follow ups requesting a status update. After this extended period of silence, the only response received was an automated rejection email generated through ADP. There was no direct outreach from anyone at the firm, no courtesy update, and no acknowledgement of the time and preparation invested in the interview process.
Hiring decisions are, of course, at the discretion of the organization. However, timely and respectful communication is a fundamental expectation in any professional recruitment process. Extended silence followed by an automated rejection does not reflect well on the firm’s operational standards or regard for candidates.
For a firm that presents itself as professional and client focused, the candidate experience falls significantly short of that expectation.
