Half Price Books interview questions

Easy if frustrating because the rate of pay was misquoted in the ad and I had been hoping for at least some flexibility. I do wish that they had been able to negotiate on that and it was frustrating.

Very pleasant atmosphere and positive vibes throughout the store. However, the interview questions were a bit odd. Like they were directly off a psyche evaluation or something similar. They never once asked a specific question about what books, media etc. do I like. Their questions were very mechanical and open ended. That said, I really did enjoy the assistant manager's and store manager's energies.
