I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at JSW Steel (South Goa) in Nov 2022
Interview
Not Useful. Irrelevant GD, did not test me the profile I was applying for, instead gave a topic of discussion on Asian paints. I applied for an electronics intern, just to be tested by a GD topic on something going on in the paint industry

RESUME & SOP SHORTLISTING (Round 1):
Very self explanatory. These gauge your creativity and basic psychometric questions.
APTITUDE TEST (Round 2):
2 sections: Emphasis on Maths and Logic
INTERVIEW:
Basically a technical and an HR person ask you very basic questions (tell me about yourself, your interests and the like)
Beyond that a couple of basic very familiar puzzles you can easily recognize if you have gone through some puzzle sites. Quick Maths questions to check your promptness.
Also some analytical questions along the lines of “How many trees are there in the entire campus of XYZ" They aren't really looking for the right answer, just your thought process so it would be prudent to be vocal.
Some normal HR questions like your favourite subject, hobbies etc may also be asked!
Lastly, they do check on your project management skills so brushing up on various steps of project management helps. .

Question 1
None actually. Quite simple questions asked in the process.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at JSW Steel in Oct 2013
Interview
Online application where we had to answer few essay type questions(Why JSW? strengths/weaknesses etc.) and upload our resume. That was followed by an aptitude based test which had 3 sections- verbal, logical and quant. Those who cleared that were finally interviewed. It was a typical 15 minute HR round. It was a good experience overall.
