I applied online. I interviewed at Life.Church (Edmond, OK)
Interview
The interview process for Life.Church is very rigorous and at times can be invasive. Not only do they ask questions about your experience in your role you are interviewing for, but they also ask about things you struggle with. This isn’t the “what are your strengths and weaknesses?” They can be more along the lines of trying to get you to express the sins you struggle with. You meet many people, all who look and play the part of good-looking, hip pastor, but often times I felt like these people weren’t really listening to my answers, it felt like they were trying to pick up on certain buzzwords I said to be able to use in later rounds of the interview. If the staff doesn’t like the way you answer in one round, they will cut the interview short and not ask for clarity or follow up questions and do in fact send people home at any point of the day or weekend.
I interviewed for the YouVersion Product Designer position. The interviewing process was long (1 hiring manager, 1 group panel, 1 design exercise & review, 1 personality test walk-through), but very rewarding, one of the most positive experiences I've had so far. The whole process was very respectful and allowed me to not only fully understand what the role is, but also make sure that my personal spiritual vision aligns with theirs. Overall, great experience!

Question 1
Describe a time when you had a conflict with others, how did you handle it?
and a lot of other questions regarding faith and its alignment with career/what you're looking for.
Very intrusive but very thorough. The interview was a very long day and hard work. The first round is round robin where it is like speed dating. The second round is huddles. The third round is two 30 minute interviews.
