To clarify a few aspects of our process: for initial conversations, we may encourage a camera-off format to allow both parties to focus more fully on the discussion. In this case, our communication appears to have suggested otherwise, which created confusion, and we will review our messaging to ensure greater clarity. For later stages, interviews are typically conducted with cameras on. We do use structured interview guides, but they are intended to support and not replace natural, engaging conversation, and it’s clear that this balance wasn’t reflected in your experience.
