I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at McCann Worldgroup (New York, NY) in Aug 2017
Interview
Heard about the job via a friend. Heard back the very next day from a recruiter with the company and we arranged an interview. The Interview had three rounds, one with the recruiter I was communicating back and forth with, the supervisor I would be working closely with, and the president of the company branch.
The only problem was that my friend, as well as the recruiter, told me it was a Designer role for branding, packaging, and iconography and the job was actually for a presentation designer role. Didn't find out it was for a completely different role until half way through the second interview, which at the point, it was obvious I wasn't going to be the right fit for the job. Therefore, after I had finished my third round of the interview, I was informed I could not proceed with the application process as I had no evidence of presentation work.
Overall, I really enjoyed the office culture and getting to know the people that work there but wish I would've been told what the job was actually for instead of being baited and switched mid-interview.
