I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at NOV (Houston, TX) in Sep 2008
Interview
NOV is hiring their employee thru staffing companies. Recruiter will contact you and interview with you. Will describe positions. Get date from NOV for 1:1 interview . Generally they have good manager but of course some managers have personal problems or ego problems as usual. Interviews are generally easy as long as you know what you are saying. Salary is suck..do not expect have good salary
The interview was very friendly and relaxed and felt welcome. The interviewer was more interested in finding out about my skills than silly questions about things like strengths and weaknesses.

The process took 2 days. I interviewed at NOV (Anderson, TX) in Aug 2010
Interview
the correspondence began with a brief phone conversation to set up interview. I then attended an on-site interview the next week. The interview consisted of speaking with two current employees and doing a walking tour of the facility. The whole process took a little over an hour. I was then called the next day and asked to return for another interview the following day. This interview took a grand total of 20 minutes with a hiring manager and seemed more of a formality than anything. I was contacted again, a day later, with an offer. It was a very fast process, which I greatly appreciated.
