I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing (Halifax, NS) in Sep 2015
Interview
Branch Manager and sales manager sat in the managers office, Branch manager asked most of the questions. The interview was about 40 minutes long and was fairly relaxed. Was a very relaxed conversation. Interview was in 2012 - not 2015, Glassdoor won't let me go back that far.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing (Linden, NJ) in Jun 2018
Interview
It was swift, informative and productive. Overall, it was a perfect fit and the interview kept a solid pace. The interviewer asked decent questions and wanted to get to know what kind of person I was.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Penske Truck Leasing in Dec 2013
Interview
Quick response to initial contact. I was referred by a current employee so I was guaranteed the first interview. 2nd and 3rd came very quickly after the first. You meet with Branch and District Rental Managers in first interview. Pretty typical interview questions on the first interview, second was with the District Manager. I thought this one was easier because he just wanted to get a feel for you as a person. Nothing too difficult. Third interview is with the Area Rental Manager. He oversees 5 districts from Memphis to Omaha and everywhere between. Most difficult question was from him.

Question 1
"Why you, why should Penske choose you?" - I wasn't in any desperate need for the job so the questions they bounced off me got ad-libbed answers. If you're honest and know what the culture of this company is like you'll answer it just fine.
