Redwood Software interview questions

The interview process started with a cognitive assessment focused on problem solving and logical thinking. After that, I had a 30 minutes conversation with the hiring manager where we discussed my background, past projects, how I approach design problems, and what the team is looking for in the role. It felt more like a genuine discussion to understand mutual fit.

I applied in Nov 2025 and the recruiter screen happened in early December. Post that, my 1st round was a hiring manager round with the Senior Director of Engineering who asked questions mostly around people management and delivery. The feedback was extremely positive and it moved quickly to the next round with the Senior Director and Product Mgr . I was provided a rate limiter code and given time to analyse and point improvements in it over the next conversation. The feedback was positive again and I was moved to the next round of 45mins to meet with the VP of engineering which was mostly values and collaboration based. He mentioned that the recruiter would reach out with next steps. All the process was complete by the beginning of Jan 2026. The recruiter said that should have a decision in 2 weeks. After multiple followups, the recruiter said in mid Feb that they are still finalizing and trying to reach to a decision. Come Mar 2026, I received an email from the recruiter that they hired somebody with more recent SaaS experience and said that we can connect for a feedback call to which I replied yes but nothing. Such a waste of time interviewing with this company
