I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Rexel Group (Derby, England) in Mar 2021
Interview
Had a short phone call, we then had a teams interview. Then followed a 1 on 1 interview at the head office in Solihull. I can’t make it to 30 words, you should consider reducing this to 20 words?
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Rexel Group (Birmingham, England) in Apr 2017
Interview
Contacted by HR directly, interview under taken by manager no HR present, no parking on site advised to park in golf course car park, format different to that as advised, interview 1hr no option to extend as next attendee waiting as ushered out,
Manager didn't shut up more interested in himself and what he did for the company than the role and what would have been my duties & my skills that I could bring to the company, tried to force the interview myself by detailing what I could bring to the company, got the impression he hadn't read my cv & was winging it due to no HR, openly admitted he was controlling, every negative and down when discussing monies/car , no mention of potential remuneration or package just annual wages , offices seemed cramped & over populated (lack of expenditure), internal systems very poor (still working off individual excel spreadsheets (wtf-welcome back to the 90's)) no control/finance data base. no wonder they are in a state (quote manager) if this is how they deal with situations,
overall a very strange unprofessional interview, an awful experience for a company turning over 805 million you expect a higher standard
this certainly wasn't 'the one that got a way', I'll stay where I am thks not into down grading !
