Very relaxed and down to earth. Just a phone screening but was still asked pertinent questions. A very welcoming tone on the phone which allowed me to feel comfortable. Scheduling was very easy.
Invited to a TestGorilla language assessment shortly after applying. You have 48 hours to start the test. The modules cover computer skills, English C2, and LQA-specific categories (Idioms, Grammar, and Spelling).
Pros: Flexibility with the webcam (can be covered or turned off).
Cons: Very tight time limits for the difficulty level and required to complete a technical assessment without any information on the salary or offer.
Note: A minimum score of 70% per category is required to move forward.

LQA Idioms, English C2, LQA Grammar, and LQA Spelling
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Side (Braga) in Jan 2026
Interview
The recruitment process presented several communication issues from the very beginning. The interview was rescheduled three times. On one of those occasions, I joined the call at the agreed time, waited for a considerable period, and no one showed up or reached out to explain the absence. Only a few days later was I contacted to ask whether I would be available to reschedule the interview.
Despite this, the process moved forward to a final stage. During the last interview, it was mentioned that the start date would be at the beginning of February, with the assurance that final feedback would be provided the following week.
However, this timeline was not respected. Nearly two weeks have passed since the indicated date, and despite polite and professional follow-up attempts via email, I have not received any response. The proposed start date passed without any clarification or update.
Regardless of the final decision, the lack of communication—especially after creating such concrete expectations regarding feedback and start dates—demonstrates a lack of organization and consideration for candidates’ time and professional circumstances. A clear response, even if negative or to communicate delays, would have made a significant difference to the overall experience.
