      Sales Interview

      Dec 2, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

      I interviewed at StackAdapt

      Interview

Laborious and somewhat disorganized. Was often told you were meeting with one person only to have it switched at the last minute. Unclear who the hiring manager was due to 5 rounds of interviews with same title. Was told next interview was final only to have them come back to meet additional people. After all was said and done they actually sent me a survey to fill out about the process which was laughable.

      Interview

The process was very efficient. The interview was very intense and brought up a lot of scenario based questioning based on how you would react. It was a great activity, and caused for a lot of self reflection post-interview

      Sales Interview

      Aug 24, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at StackAdapt (Toronto, ON) in May 2020

      Interview

30 mins Recruiter chat 60 mins chat with sales directors 40 mins chat with C- level exec Honestly, the interview process was very easy in terms of difficulty, but the entire process turned me off to the company overall. - They only have 1 HR rep, which is ridiculous for a sized company of 200. Terrible communication: was weeks in between rounds before I heard anything. - They talk about having an amazing culture & caring for employees but did not see that come through in my conversations with both the sales leadership & execs I had met. - The C-level exec basically said that if he is hiring someone, he expects them to be there for at least 5 years. Does not believe in remote work, and that expects everyone to work a strict 9-5 (ie. everyone needs to login by 9). - In that same convo, exec then tried to convince me that said proposed salary was x, and that I wasn't worth more than that but there was great opportunity for commission and company culture. The offer was lower than my current salary. We ended off saying he would talk to HR and see and i would get an update. - Knew I wasnt going to join the company by this point due to culture differences and some red flags mentioned before, but never even got an update from ANYONE from the company regarding status of my interviews. As a candidate who wasted 3 hours talking to your team over the span of 1.5 months, to not even receive a courtesy email is pretty unprofessional. - Can only imagine what employee morale is like within the company: having 1 HR rep says alot about their company's "investment" in their employees. The whole process just seemed like a mess and even the sales leaders I interviewed with had no idea what was going on, or who I had talked to.
