A recruiter reached out to me, encouraged me to apply for a role, and pushed me to submit my resume through Workday’s system. After I spent time completing the application, I was told the next day that I was not qualified.
This is a poor candidate experience. If the requirements were clear enough to reject me within a day, they should have been clear enough for the recruiter to screen before asking me to apply. The process felt extractive and left the impression that candidates were being pushed into the system without serious fit assessment.
Workday should improve upfront screening and be more respectful of candidates’ time.
