I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at YouGov (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2024
Interview
I did two rounds before getting cut. First one was with a recruiter, second was with the manager who would be overseeing the role. There was also a semi-technical take-home test given after passing the first interview. It was initially a bit confusing to interpret what they were asking of me, but in the end, it wasn’t too hard to figure out. They asked me to move certain elements in different PowerPoint slides to make them look more clean and make sense.

Interview
Had an awful experience interviewing at YouGov, my first round interviewer seemed like they did not want to be there. Lacked enthusiasm and seemed like they wanted to get it over with. My second round of interviews, the interviewer seemed super contrived and seemed more interested in why I want to leave my current company than me as a candidate and whether or not I align with the company. When I asked her questions about the firm, she seemed to echo my responses without adding substance.
