They asked something to the effect "Can you teach students who are very new to your field and are coming in from the workplace as non-traditional students, with their last class in this subject 10 or 15 years ago. Basically, they wanted to make sure I could craft a classroom experience that would serve the needs of all of their students, not just the A students fresh from their high school classes in the material.
