hmv Assistant Manager interview questions

I took an impromptu interview when I was at home sick (I wanted to show I was keen). Despite said sickness and a terrible line, it went ok. I have a history with the company and more than enough experience for the role. I figured I had at least a chance. I was asked what dates I would be free for a follow up interview and asked to forward my email address to the interviewer. Then radio silence. I really would have expected at the very least, to receive an email to say I had been unsuccessful. It’s called professional courtesy guys. Especially for a management position. Disappointing.

Interview was far from normal. There were no store or management related questions. Interviewer was more interested in telling his story about his advancements. I felt that I was ignored as soon as I walked in. There was no eye contact at all.
