A subsidiary of Manitowoc Foodservice, Frymaster makes commercial foodservice equipment such as hot oil fryers, frying systems, food dispensing equipment, pasta cookers, and filter systems. Many are Energy Star compliant. Parts and service are available for the equipment, too. Plugging its branded lineup and the public focus on obesity, Frymaster also provides a Web site for healthy preparation of fried foods. Fast-food restaurants are the company's primary customers; McDonald's and Yum! Brands are major partners. Frymaster sells through a network of dealers and distributors in the US and abroad. The company was founded in 1935 by P.F. Ratcliff.
