Genting Malaysia Berhad works hard to make sure its customers play hard. The leisure and hospitality company operates hotel casinos, resorts, and theme parks in Malaysia. Its flagship Resorts World Genting includes six hotels, as well as dining and shopping outlets, convention facilities, and live entertainment venues. The company also owns and operates the Awana chain of hotels and resorts. Malaysia's sole casino operator, Genting Malaysia Berhad expanded into England in 2010 when it acquired Genting UK (including more than 40 casino properties) from Genting Singapore in a £340 million ($534 million) deal. The company is majority-owned by Malaysian holding company The Genting Group.
