The decision to reduce the team, putting our business on a path to sustainable and responsible growth, impacted so many people - in tangible and intangible ways. We acknowledge the financial and emotional impact on those who lost their jobs. It affected their lives and livelihoods in ways we will never fully know and understand. Thank you for your review! We’re always looking for ways to optimise our employee experience so we’re delighted to hear that you are feeling the positive effects of those efforts. We’ve been sad to see some faces leave Altus of late but recognise that many of them were here for a long time, helped to shape Altus into what it is today and went on to new opportunities which better aligned with their career goals moving forward. We recognise that historically, we may not have communicated as clearly as employees would like when it comes to our processes around performance reviews, raises and promotions - we’ve been developing these processes over time and with the People & Culture team growing significantly over the last year, we’re well equipped to improve this moving forward; hopefully you’re already seeing this in action through recent All Hands and Kick Off presentations! Rich has grown Altus tremendously over the last 7 years as our CEO but recognises that he isn’t an expert in every facet of running a business and as such, we’ve hired a number of leaders to build a leadership team with complementary skills and experience to ensure that Altus is setup for success as we continue to grow.
