Pros

Good company on your resume

Cons

Worst culture ever, lots of fighting and cut throat within the HR team. Look at the the "diversity" and you'll notice a weird pattern. They try to advertise diversity but they miss the point in terms of profiles... They'll include a black/asian person here and there in their teams and pictures but in reality these people are simply corporate tools. To progress you either have to be part of diversity, good looking or friend of management. When assigned to a project, it gets very political.. They forget about you and and you rather not say anything otherwise you're automatically lablled as problematic. Avoid this company.. Ellison, Ledcor, PCL, Bird, Pomerleau .. They all have a better culture.

Pros

-Benefit and pension plan are great. -DCPP Plan where they match up to 5% of your salary. -There are a lot of great and knowledgeable people to learn from. -Field level personnel and middle management are great, they communicate and work together.

Cons

-Extremely long hours with relative low pay when compared against competitors. -No one knows what is going on, and there is extremely poor communication between higher management and middle/field level personnel. -A lot of people who work here are someone's relative, and most of the time they are not as good as people who have been working there for a long time, that hurts productivity and in the end makes you want to leave. -"Old boys club"
