Pros

Full time employment , learning the rental industry, interaction with customers, helping people get the right equipment for their projects, multiple locations, and employee discounts.

Cons

Too many leaders, not enough soldiers. Just about everyone has a management title. A VP for everything. Incompetent people are put in key positions. Favoritism by management is rampant. Inconsistent company policies. Personal and work gossip among employees is often initiated by management.

Boss was ok, branch mgr never around.

Cons

High turnover, horrible insurance, 10 months make quota or you are out. Don't trust employees with gps in vehicles and on phone. Meat grinder mentality. Equipment rented wasn't always the best.

Top leadership knows nothing about the rental business, way to many chiefs. It’s all about titles at Ahern. If they do not like you they will find a way to get rid of you even if that means making stuff up. You will hear they care about you and your family, they do not.
