Terrible management culture at IGM

Good salary, benefits and rotation. Amazing natural deposits, gold supply will last for a very long time.

Cons

MGM is a proud micro-manager and spends his time publicly picking apart his management team which causes the good ones to leave and the inexperienced kiss ups to stay. HR has a reputation for being absolutely mean and terminating people who have concerns. During my first week about 20 people told me that the workplace was toxic and unfortunately I quickly found out that they were correct.

Turnover exceptionally high at Alamos

Co-workers in security and mine workers/contractors were very good, and a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Management in security was the worst! 14 guards left in 4 years, some walked out after 2 weeks on the job. Upper Management seems to be blind ti what is happening and continues to happen. Exit interviews are NEVER held. Guards who go other positions at the mine were held back for up to a year because there was never a full compliment of guards due to terrible management.
