Pros

Upper management committed to remote work Some coworkers are still friendly Good perks, nice looking office

Cons

I have close to a year of good time with this company before the current CTO joined. Things have only gone downhill since. Stack ranking, broken trust between teammates, constant gaslighting and toxic positivity from line managers all the way up to CEOs have done numbers on my mental health. For people reading Glassdoor comments here, when you see the negative reviews, please believe them. This place is nothing like what it used to be. Run and run far far away from this place.

Pros

I don't work there anymore

Cons

Work/life balance is touted as important, and yet anyone who's not grinding out 80 hours a week will be seen as detrimental to the team. They purchased the company I worked for and it was clear that my managers did not want me on their team. My manager actually said "that's great!" when I found a new position. They offered me relocation within Europe, and then AFTER the period to sign the contract had expired they decided to change that to the USA. After we had done renos on our condo and put thousands of dollars into preparing for the move. Forced enthusiasm is rampant, and entirely fallacious. The organization is absolute garbage, and they do not listen to anyone who is not a senior exec. Give this gong show a pass.

Atlassian Stuck in the Past, Pretending to Lead

Pros

Work from home and competitive pay.

Cons

- CEO invites feedback but never responds—optics over action. - Zero innovation—strategy is to follow market leaders, not lead. - Bloated layers of weak management with no accountability. - Toxic culture driven by fear, not performance.
