      1) Decent office location in Downtown Toronto. 2) 9 to 5ish work hours

      The whole Toronto office is a glorified Sales office to sell sub-par investment performance to trusting Canadian individuals and institutions. Management lack any expertise. Below market salary No training Toxic culture No esprit d'corp No professional progression available No career development Intellectual wasteland (using Excel Macros is a transformative innovation) No positive feedback or interaction with management Admin/reception staff are morons Made to show up to work during Christmas holidays even though there is no work during that season False promises of paying for professional education such as CIM, CFA, CSC, etc. - they will find some loophole to weasel out of it

      Pros

      Good location, ok salary, decent office.Benefits were ok too. The food in the area around the office was also alright. Otherwise not much to speak about.

      Cons

      Terrible company staffed by idiots, and mediocrities. Senior management are in the US so bad operations and practices are unseen in Toronto. I would avoid if I can.
