- Highly stressful work environment; particularly caused by the poor behaviour of the upper management that you will get used to expecting the moment something is not going as expected.
- Management will blow up on employees the instant something is not going as smoothly as they would like. They are quick to anger, shouting, and quite literally verbally insulting their subordinates. They primarily follow a commanding/pacesetting management style.
- Upper management will never accept that they made the wrong decision, even after being warned numerous times that the decision being made is wrong - and when it does fail, they will point the finger at someone else and blow up on them. Zero accountability for their own mistakes and poor decisions.
- Complete lack of work-life balance. From day one to months into the job, depending on your role, it will become an expectation for you to work an extra half day (and more) in addition to what you were originally hired to do if you wish to progress and grow within the company. These expectations come without any added benefit or salary increase. You will also find yourself awake in the middle of the night, checking and responding to emails and texts/phone calls (this includes weekends).
- Shouting...and a lot of it. If you feel you are unfit for a work environment where there's a lot of shouting, this is not the job for you.
