Pros

Pro: Employees were graciously given tissues by the receptionist as they ran past her crying Con: Reprimanded directly after for leaving their desk by the psychotic manager that made them cry and leave their desk in the first place Life lesson: Cry at your desk to avoid being yelled at

Cons

Emotionally and mentally abusive towards all employees. Being yelled at, bullied and humiliated was a daily occurrence. Within my first few months the labour board was called in to investigate bullying, this should have been a sign to leave but unfortunately I stayed. The company has a pattern of hiring people who are desperate for a job, they do this because they know they can abuse them and they won’t leave. My manager would regularly yell and curse at employees daily. Her manager was informed of this on multiple occasions and she did nothing. The turnover should also be a sign that something is wrong. Within my first year I became the senior employee of my department because everyone quit. In my second year 50% of the departure quit and after I quit 40% of the department quit within a couple months. But I think the saddest part is that the Directors of this company give out gift cards when people quit. They do this so that people won’t write terrible reviews on Glassdoor. This is a manipulation tactic to try and make people feel guilty about writing a review after being given a gift. Also, the last couple of reviews were writing by management in a pathetic attempt to bring up the companies rating. You guys do great work together.

Pros

Honestly the only pro is I used a lot of my nursing skills

Cons

Too many to list but here are a few days are very stretched out, inconsistent hours, getting ahold of the office is a joke. No one returnes calls, clients are unhappy, schedual changes on a dime, paid less than base wage for lpns in Alberta, double booking, no mileage, lack of communication, no one listens, no time off, they will call you at 755 and expect you to take a client at 800, I made more as a server and I am going back to the restaurant industry over working for these guys any more.
