Pros

1. Pretty good benefits package

Cons

Organizationally: 1. C-Suite does not care about the employees at the "bottom" - if you are not a Director or Manager title, you are nothing to them. 2. Company promises various benefits (bonuses, travel, WFH policies) and as soon as you are hired they rescind it all w very little transparency 3. Abysmal organization from top down 4. Pay is not competitive (and far below industry standards). ----- My team (and management of said team): 1. Lack of Support and Guidance: My manager consistently fails to provide adequate support and guidance, especially regarding task assignments. For instance, when I'm assigned tickets, the scope is often unclear or incomplete, leading to inefficiencies and rework. This lack of clarity not only wastes time but also hampers the quality of our deliverables. 2. Tight Deadlines with Little Context: There's a recurring pattern of setting tight deadlines without proper consideration for the complexity of tasks or the resources required. My manager often imposes unrealistic timelines without fully understanding the work involved, which puts undue pressure on the team and compromises the quality of our output. This shortsighted approach to project management is detrimental to both employee morale and client satisfaction. 3. Poor Onboarding Practices: The onboarding process under my manager's supervision is severely lacking. New hires are often left to fend for themselves, with minimal guidance or resources to acclimate to their roles effectively. This lack of structured onboarding not only prolongs the learning curve but also contributes to high turnover rates as employees struggle to adapt to their responsibilities. 4. Disregard for Employee Development: Despite repeated feedback regarding the need for improved onboarding and clearer task assignments, my manager has shown little interest in addressing these concerns. There's a noticeable lack of investment in employee development, as opportunities for learning and growth are overshadowed by the constant firefighting caused by mismanagement. 5. Very blurred lines for the roles within the team. The lead of the team is involved in things they don't need to be involved in causing extending timelines and a lot of unnecessary conversation. 6. Genuinely ungrateful for employee efforts and never celebrating wins i.e. nothing you do will ever be good enough.

Pros

I generally like the people I work with.

Cons

The management. The senior leaders with a few exceptions are not great to work for.
