- Lots of opportunity for growth; - Many career paths to choose from (Manufacturing, Finance, HR, Logistics, Supervision, Transportation, Sales, IT....); - Very good benefits; - Competitive salaries; - Safe working environment, Canfor puts a lot of energy towards the safety of their employees; - Lumber is not a sunset industry, Canfor is leading the way in ensuring sustainability and opportunity way into the future; - Investment in people.

Cons

- Some locations are tough, in smaller towns with lack of amenities that people might want/ hope for.

The company/management doesn't care at all about their employees. There is no company culture and all they care about is profits. HR department is a mess. If you're looking for a company that values their employees, this is not the place.

Good pay/benefit Hiring lots of fresh grad, good to be at the very young generation

Cons

favourism need to suck up to the right person hard working doesn't necessarily get paid off, just need to build relationship with the right person then you have unlimited opportunity to grow senior manager /managers all trying to suck up their own boss so don't expect someone will really back you up or 'be your mentor"
