      Steady leadership in a turbulent time

      Pros

      I have worked at Damotech in an executive role for over 5 yrs. The leadership and overall company culture is heavily influenced by core values that were established by the Company's President. Even during these turbulent times, the Company's values have always been at the core of every major decision that is made. It is a great place to work at and one that prides itself on challenging its employees and rewarding hard work.

      Cons

      The current conditions have challenged the Company tremendously and although we are pulling through, some sacrifices are required and not everyone will be happy. I nevertheless applaud the employees for rising to the challenge.

      Great people, nice work environment, great team bonding activities, hybrid work

      Cons

      No growth oppurtunity, do not promote internally, will always hire externally. Low pay increase. Vacation scheme has recently changed in favour of sales (that make commission and engineers do not). They will always favour sales over engineers making things better and easier for sales and harder and harder for engineers. Sales do not give all the information to the engineers; thus, always facing surprises and repurcusion comes to engineers not the sales force. When travelling for team bonding, engineers will share hotel rooms, while sales will be staying alone per room and choosing their time of flight departure so they can take later flights and engineers earlier flights
