Pros

Culture of collaboration: -> The company has a very open and friendly culture, one that welcomes new hires and promotes inclusivity Stability: -> the company provides assurance and care even in the most difficult of times -> the company has never laid off employees due to financial scares - don’t get on with the management that’s another story! Strong legacy products and technical know-how. WW recognised and appreciated and growing in the cloud space

Cons

Business Strategy: A complete mess!!! - Metamorphosis -> the management calls it an evolution - which is actually a repeated failed attempt -> Here is a lovely picture which we painted using external consultants and we will schedule multiple calls to explain the picture and make sure you write about in your annual review - beats my logic of a picture paints a thousand words Mediocracy: -> Some people work really hard to get numbers and get no support from management -> Some people just join calls and ask “how much is value for this Brand/Industry in this PO?” And that’s it - Numbers achieved -> Some people just join calls and do PPTs -> Plenty of favouritism -> Not performing in your role? -> “here is a new role which you have no experience in but keep your high salary and career level and continue mediocracy elsewhere in the same company” -> Some just hide behind screens god knows what they do Sales and Marketing Strategy: Everyone competes with each other (not an understatement!) Direct with Indirect, Indirect with Online BD teams, brands with industry and plenty of unclear responsibilities and grey areas In between all of this marketing will say we achieved 1000% when sales revenue results show otherwise. Sales get customers to events and get the same people back as leads and marketing say we did 10X pipeline. Go to DS exhibition events and all leads go to whoever is the marketing favourite/ loudest on the debrief calls or are rerouted to online BD teams who are actually competing with the other sales teams. Sure there is data for PAM, TAM and etc but marketing teams should NOT draw the line on GTM when they dont even know the product portfolio properly and cant hold a conversation with a potential customer. How many sales leaders and marketing leaders in DS can actually explain in simple terms what PLM, MBSE and MODSIM are? Or even more important, why are we even hiring people who turn up and ask "So what is PLM?"
