Pros

They have a full time chef and hot lunches

Cons

Gave me a full time job and told me to drive across the country to start work. Took me a week to get there and when I did, they pulled the job from me after the Environment Art lead went on vacation.

Decent studio to get foot in the door of the studio

Pros

Free lunch and snack bar Guaranteed end of year bonus No crunch since it's solely a Games as a service studio

Cons

HR won't handle issues properly, will promise to solve problem but will mostly do nothing about it. Uppermanagement is non existant and would rather keep staff under the radar about earnings. No clear roadmap of development to unify studio goals across departments, most things are found out during announcements to the public rather than internally. Game engine is horribly outdated. Similarly any senior staff experience is out of touch especially compared to the rest of the industry. Office culture is very much like high school cliques with a ton of unnecessary gossip.

Pros

Sure there are some nice people that work here. And the lunch thing is okay. Salaries are low but they do offer a yearly bonus.

Cons

Art leadership is really not that great. Communication is poor and they really are not very nice. No chance for advancement. London is really bad weather and is not very fun. Not very many good places to rent.
